Millionaires Pie

Fall always puts me in the mood for pie and homemade soup. I usually like to eat out on the weekends, but this pie recipe looked irresistible. Pecan pie is my weakness so after coming across this recipe for millionaires pie I was excited to make it! The pie was like a little piece of heaven and would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner.....

Needs:
1 Pie Crust
3 Eggs
1 c Corn Syrup (light colored)
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Brown Sugar
1/3 c Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt
16 oz Semisweet Chocolate Pieces (1 cup)
1 c Flaked Coconut
1 c Walnuts or Pecans
Whipped Topping

In a medium bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt. Layer in pastry shell, your semisweet chocolate pieces, 1 cup coconut and pecan or walnut pieces. Pour egg mixture over all and spread evenly. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20-25 minutes  or until set. Be careful this can take time! Let cool completely on wire rack and serve with whipped topping. Store in refrigerator.
